Revisiting the heyday of department stores and five-and-dimes


Residents read flyers distributed by police as they wait to be allowed back into their homes at Fletcher Drive and Estara Avenue in Glassell Park. Police scheduled a community meeting for 6 tonight at the Glassell Park Community Center, 3750 N. Verdugo Road, to talk to residents about the arrests and indictment.
