Turner created interiors for "Entourage" star Adrian Grenier's renovation of a 1920s Spanish house in Los Angeles. The actor wanted a house that looked as natural as it was eco-conscious. "Neutrals can work," Turner writes. You just have to remember to offer different values and shades of the color and to introduce different textures and shapes -- that will prevent you from getting stuck in those dreaded beige doldrums." In the dining room, he mixed stump stools with more formal upholstered seating and hung mirrors in reclaimed wooden frames on the wall as a focal point. "While they don't match in shape," he writes, "they work in a grouping because they're all made from the same material and finish. Huge empty walls can be so daunting. Here the lesson is that expensive art isn't the only solution."
