The Streisand collection

A desk by the famed Viennese Secessionist designer Josef Hoffmann has the original white paint finish and a replaced black leather top. The plant stand has the original painted black checkerboard pattern and tole insert. Estimated to fetch $3,000 to $5,000, they were part of a suite of furniture that Streisand used to decorate her office at Warner Bros. studios. Later, she put them in her Manhattan kitchen. Some lucky bidder grabbed these historic pieces for $896.
