The gold iPhone exists.
Apple unveiled the device, which is officially called the iPhone 5S, Tuesday morning.
The new device is the successor to last year's iPhone 5. The iPhone 5S will also be available in traditional black and white options.
Besides the new gold color option, the iPhone 5S is similar to the iPhone 5 in both aesthetics and internal components. The one major difference is the iPhone 5S will feature an A7 chip, the latest Apple processor.
Apple has yet to say when the device will be available or how much it will cost. Typically, the iPhone is available for $200 with a two-year contract.
Earlier, Apple also announced the iPhone 5C, a low-cost version of the popular smartphone that is available starting at $99 with a two-year contract.
