Apple is preparing for its annual iPhone announcement -- its biggest event of the year -- and it's just a few hours away.
The event is set to start at 10 a.m., but you can follow us throughout the day for the latest news from Apple. This year, the Cupertino-based tech giant is expected to unveil not one but two new versions of its popular smartphone device.
Rumors say Apple will announce the iPhone 5S, a high-end successor to the iPhone 5, and the iPhone 5C, a low-cost version of the device.
Inside the devices, don't expect much to change besides a new processor, because this year is all about aesthetics. The iPhone 5C is expected to be available in a handful of color options, while the iPhone 5S is said to be coming in white, black and a new gold color that has been described as looking like champagne.
