Former Laker Trevor Ariza lists lakefront home near Orlando

#Wizards Trevor Ariza looking to score home sale in Florida

Trevor Ariza, the NBA forward who was part of Los Angeles Lakers 2009 championship team, has listed his lakefront home in Windermere, Fla., for sale at $1.675 million.

The custom Mediterranean sits among mature palms on a little more than one-third of an acre with an outdoor kitchen, a private boat dock, a pool and spa. Built in 2006, the home, with a 5,722-square-foot floor plan, features custom cabinetry, granite counter tops and travertine and wood flooring.

Opening through a two-story grand foyer, the house has a gourmet kitchen with a coffee/wine bar, a family room with a built-in entertainment center, and a private theater with a kitchenette. The master suite touts a walk-in closet and water views.  In all, the home has four bedrooms and five full baths.

Records show that Ariza paid $2.49 million for the property in August 2006 -- roughly six months after being traded by the New York Knicks to the Orlando Magic in a deal for Steve Francis. He was dealt to the Lakers in exchange for Brian Cook and Maurice Evans the following year.

Ariza, 28, played one season for UCLA before declaring for the 2004 draft, where he was selected in the second round by the Knicks. He currently plays for the Washington Wizards.

Jennifer Piper of Premier Property Group is the listing agent.
