Israeli anger over Gaza rocket attacks

Residents of the Israeli city of Ashkelon protest against rockets attacks into Israel from the Gaza Strip. Israeli Foreign Minister <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PEPLT0007530" title="Tzipi Livni" href="/topic/politics/government/government-ministers/tzipi-livni-PEPLT0007530.topic">Tzipi Livni</a> spoke by telephone with United Nations Secretary General <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PEPLT007503" title="Ban Ki-moon" href="/topic/politics/diplomacy/international-relations/ban-ki-moon-PEPLT007503.topic">Ban Ki-moon</a> and "demanded that the international community stop applying a policy of ignoring acts of terror aimed at hurting innocent people," her office said in a statement.
