The 'New Moon' grows full

When a film is as hotly anticipated as the "Twilight" sequel is, then even a bit of casting news causes major waves. So it came as joyous news to Stephenie Meyer's legions of fans that "Frost/Nixon" actor <a href="http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/thedishrag/2009/04/underworld-lycan-michael-sheen-to-play-volturi-in-new-moon.html">Michael Sheen has been cast</a> as the villainous leader of the Volturi. Dakota Fanning's presence in the film has given some fans pause, but Sheen is reliable in fangs. He's done it all before, playing a werewolf in the "Underworld" films.
