Who was offended? Women's groups, Joss Whedon, New York City taxis, Regal Cinemas ... and more! What was their beef? It's a wonder "Captivity," a torture movie starring Elisha Cuthbert, made it into any theaters at all. The movie's marketing campaign -- featuring women in violent and dire straits -- drew protests from nearly everyone who saw ads for the movie, which Joss Whedon deemed "torture porn." The result: "Captivity" made just $2.6 million at the box office.
