A Brazilian air force remote-sensing aircraft prepares to take off from the airport on the archipelago of Fernando de Noronha, off the Brazilian coast, to join in the search for Air France Flight 447. The airliner carrying 228 people disappeared Sunday over the Atlantic en route from Rio de Janeiro to Paris.
