A bridge troll Bay Area motorists love

The 18-inch-high troll known as San Andreas was crafted by a blacksmith after the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake and placed without commission or permission on the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge. Now the artist wants the gargoyle-like creature to be moved to the bridge's new eastern span.
