Sculptor Mark di Suvero founded this experimental alternative park in 1986 on a piece of abandoned land on the East River across from Manhattan. The former industrial site now serves as an event and meeting space for young artists. More than 50 exhibits have been organized here to display large-scale works such as Alissa Neglia's "Lace," from 1998.
