French anti-riot police officers check the broken window of a luxury store on the Champs-Elysee. Fans of the Algerian soccer team rioted following Algeria's victory over Egypt on Wednesday in a World Cup 2010 playoff. The victory triggered wild celebrations in Algiers as well as violence in Egypt and elsewhere.
