Although he was the star of the game, Green Bay's <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PESPT006973" title="Bart Starr" href="/topic/sports/bart-starr-PESPT006973.topic">Bart Starr</a> had his bad moments, too. Kansas City's E.J. Holub (55) and Buck Buchanan (86) gang up to throw Starr for a loss in the third quarter, but the <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="ORSPT000042" title="Green Bay Packers" href="/topic/sports/football/green-bay-packers-ORSPT000042.topic">Packers</a> beat the <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="ORSPT000046" title="Kansas City Chiefs" href="/topic/sports/football/kansas-city-chiefs-ORSPT000046.topic">Chiefs</a>, 35-10, in the first <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="EVSPR000004" title="Super Bowl" href="/topic/sports/football/super-bowl-EVSPR000004.topic">Super Bowl</a> at the Los Angeles Coliseum on Jan. 16, 1967. At the time, it was simply known as the NFL-AFL championship game.
