Former Barton Sprinters wrap up Olympics with Silver

Former Barton Community College Sprinters Veronica Campbell-Brown and Tyson Gay each wrapping up the Olympics, by winning Silver in the 4X100 relays for their perspective countries.

Campbell-Brown, running for Jamaica, won silver in the women's 4x100 relay. Despite setting a new Jamaican record time of 41.41, Campbell-Brown and her teammates fell to the United States relay team who set a new World Record time of 40.82

Gay, running for team America, helped the U-S set a new American record time of 37.04, fell to the Jamaican relay team who also set a new World Record time of 36.84.

Barton had 11 current or former athletes compete at the London Olympics.
