Solano County Sheriff’s deputies were responding to a report of shots fired near Woodrow and Reis Avenue Tuesday evening when they found a man shot to death, slumped over the driver’s seat. He was inside a white Ford Taurus, parked in the middle of the street.
Then, while deputies were searching the neighborhood for witnesses to the shooting, they found a man shot to death in a home’s driveway on Reis Avenue.
The next day, a woman called police to say a man was found inside her garage. Police took him into custody on a drug charge, but won’t say whether 44-year-old Patrick Alley is involved in the double homicide. They say right now, there isn’t any evidence linking Alley to the crime, but they’ll continue to investigate.
Autopsies on both victims will be performed Thursday at the Solano County Coroner’s office.
