Raiders Fire Head Coach After One Season

Several sources are reporting the Oakland Raiders have fired head coach Hue Jackson.

The organization has not sent out an official release, but various sports sources including Comcast SportsNet and ESPN report Jackson was let go Tuesday.

The Raiders have scheduled a 2 p.m. press conference to introduce their new general manager Reggie McKenzie, and they are expected to talk about the head coach situation.

Jackson was with the Raiders for just one season, with a record of 8-8. The team was off to a promising start, but then lost four of the last five.

McKenzie accepted the general manager job just last week.
