They were a week or two late, but Tuesday evening the Foo Fighters finally hit the stage at Power Balance Pavilion. Some sort of scheduling mishap led to the change in date from October 20th, but those fans who could make it to the show November 1st didn't seem to hold it against them.
For more than two hours, Dave Grohl and company rocked the packed arena, offering up 23 of their songs that dated back to the mid-90s. Their most recent album, “Wasting Light”, was released earlier this year.
The Sacramento date concluded the West Coast portion of the tour. According to Grohl, this was the first time they had been back to the Capitol City in eight years. He promised fans they'd be back sooner the next time around.
