Suspects Tried to Tow ATM Out of CVS

You don't need a pin number when you plan on taking the entire ATM.

At least three suspects had aspirations of towing an ATM out of the CVS Pharmacy near the intersection of Latrobe and White Rock in El Dorado Hills.

Unfortunately, for them, the machine didn't budge and they left empty handed.

It happened just after 2:00am Thursday morning, and involved a stolen truck.

Before the attempted heist, the suspects stole a truck from a car lot belonging to Folsom Lake Ford.

"They broke in through the gate," said an employee of the car dealership.

The Ford F350 was found a couple of blocks away from the CVS with its motor still running. The truck had damage to the back of it where it backed into the store's entrance.

The El Dorado County Sherrif's Department says the suspects used another truck as their get away vehicle.

Those responsible are still on the loose.
