LOS ANGELES, Calif. (KTLA) -- Lakers owner Jerry Buss is back in the hospital, this time suffering from dehydration.
"In response to media inquiries and to dispel rumors and inaccurate reports, we'd like to state that Dr. Buss is in a local hospital where he is being treated for dehydration. He is recovering and is expected to be released soon," Lakers spokesman John Black said in a statement released Tuesday.
The 78-year old Buss was hospitalized back in December for blood clots caused by excessive travel.
Buss purchased the Lakers in 1979.
He is no longer is active in the day-to-day operations of the team -- his son Jim Buss is in charge.
