Daryl Hannah is making a 'splash' in Texas.
The actress/activist is facing charges after yet another protest against the Keystone XL Oil Pipeline. This time in Quitman, Texas.
She's accused of blocking construction equipment by lying in front of it. Classic. Now she's facing criminal trespass and resisting arrest charges.
She's not alone.
Houstonian Alejandro de la Torre chained himself to the ground at a pipeline construction site in Wood County, Texas.
"He was basically holding on to a large ball of concrete in the ground," said Ron Seifert, spokesperson for Tar Sands Blockade.
Well, that's one way to do it. But the cops weren't amused. He spent the night in jail and was released on $10,000 bond.
Don't expect these pipeline protesters to pipe down anytime soon!Copyright © 2014, The Baltimore Sun
