Captured: Vehicle theft leads to arrest of fugitive William Zink

UPDATE: The Spokane County Sheriff's Office tells us William Zink was booked into the county jail on Monday.

His capture began with a vehicle theft called in by a citizen Friday that occurred at an Office Depot store. The vehicle was recovered Monday at the same place Zink was arrested. Deputies say he is suspected of being linked to the stolen vehicle.

Here's a fugitive with a wide-ranging rap sheet that makes him a threat from all sides of the criminal spectrum.

William Zink is wanted in Spokane County.

His car crimes alone make him a serious danger to anyone on the road, including vehicular assault, reckless driving, and drunk driving. And now, he's facing another DUI, getting pulled over by police after driving into oncoming traffic - and get this - his arrest came just hours after he'd gotten out of jail.

Then there's the rest of his rap sheet: Convicted of domestic violence assault, violating a  court order, several thefts, and failing to cooperate with the law.
