Seattle police are looking for a masked man who authorities believe took off in a black Porsche after robbing a Ballard bank.
The robbery occurred just before 3 p.m. Tuesday at a U.S. Bank near the intersection of NW 61st Street and 15th Avenue NW.
A man dressed in a black ski mask and a black hooded sweatshirt came into the bank and told everybody to get on the ground, police said. The man implied he had a gun and grabbed money from a bank teller. According to police, the man fled the bank in a black Porsche 944 Turbo 2-door hatchback.
The suspect is described as a white or Asian male, 30 years old and 5'8" to 5'10" with a medium build.
Robbery detectives are handling the investigation. Anyone with information on the incident should call 911 or the FBI-Seattle Safe Streets Task Force at (206) 622-0460.
