Pharoah Sanders, Joanna Newsom added to All Tomorrow's Parties lineup

If there’s ANY chance you’ll be in the UK in December...

All Tomorrow’s Parties just announced additions on Twitter to the December 2-4 lineup curated by Jeff Mangum (Neutral Milk Hotel) in Minehead, England, including Joanna Newsom, Thurston Moore and Sebadoh. They'll join Fleet Foxes, Scratch Acid, Low, Micachu and the Shapes, Superchunk and others.

Also just announced for the December 9-11 festival co-curated by Battles, Les Savy Fav and Caribou (aka Dan Snaith): Pharoah Sanders (pictured), the Sun Ra Arkestra, The Field, Cults, Matias Aguayo, Hot Snakes, Simian Mobile Disco DJs and Violent Soho.

Closer to home: ATP America presents I’ll Be Your Mirror (Sept. 30-Oct. 2 in Asbury Park, NJ) co-curators Mangum and Portishead pulled in, among others, Bonnie “Prince” Billy, Ultramagnetic MC’s, Marc Ribot’s Ceramic Dog and Earth (we recently wrote about Earth when they performed in Hartford; read it here).
