Cojomachaj, Guatemala

RICK LAWRENCE OF MANCHESTER sent in this photo taken on a visit to Cojomachaj, Guatemala. He writes: "For the past two years, I have chaired an effort to raise money from Rotary Clubs in Connecticut and Massachusetts for clean-water projects in Guatemala. Last year we raised over $24,000 for the village of Cojomachaj, which my wife and I visited in March 2007 to see the project under construction. While there, I took many pictures, including this photo of a young boy pondering whether to drink the water. It was from a water system that was made possible by Rotarians, and we had just dedicated the system the day we were visiting."
