Ron Hainsey - Bolton

Defenseman Ron Hainsey is a former first-round draft pick of the Montreal Canadiens, who took him with the 13th pick in the 2000 NHL Draft. Hainsey played sparingly in two seasons for the Canadiens before being claimed on waivers by the Columbus Blue Jackets in 2005. With Columbus, Hainsey established himself as an NHL-regular, while also showing that he could contribute on the offensive end as well (he has averaged 7.7 goals and 27.3 assists over the past three seasons). In 2008-09, his sixth season in the NHL, he played for the Atlanta Thrashers, who signed him to a five-year, $22.5 million deal in 2008. Hainsey, a native of Bolton, went to college at UMass-Lowell.
