Inauguration Not Just A Spectator Sport At Library

About 75 people gathered at the Russell Library in Middletown to watch the inauguration of Barack Obama. Following the inauguration ceremony there a community conversation in which attendees talked about the speech and gave suggestions to help facilitate changes in the community. Green Party member Vic Lancia, at left, of Portland, said that while he wished Obama well, he was skeptical of the new president's policies. The event was moderated by Secretary of the State Susan Bysiewicz.
