GERRY PORTO OF EAST HADDAM WRITES: "This is frommy recent trip to the Zuiderzee Museum in Enkhuizen, The Netherlands. Those things hung on the line are fish drying. Themuseum, much like our Mystic, seeks to re-create a town that was on the Zuiderzee when it was a salt-water body of water with fishing villages on its shores. In 1932, it was closed off from the ocean and has gradually become a fresh water lake. The buildings are all labeled as to who lived in them and what their work was: It was a highlight of our two weeks mostly in The Netherlands and a bit of Belgium on a boat tour.
