Rob Armando heads into the farmyard to inspect some of the damage caused by severe weather that moved through the state, ripping down power lines and trees closing numerous roads in South Glastonbury Friday afternoon and evening. Armano was in the basement of his ice cream shop on the farm inspecting eggs when he heard the storm move through. He witnessed the shingles of his house and several out buildings be pulled up into the sky as winds twisted across his farm, taking part of his barn roof with it and knocking down several trees. He had to move livestock since he had no power and the animals could not be contained by an electric fence anymore.
