Pratt & Whitney Vote

Workers for Pratt & Whitney voted Sunday morning on whether to strike or approve a contract at the Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford. Minutes before the vote, Pratt workers, seated in the theatre chairs, clapped and celebrated in anticipation of the vote. Vanessa Tate, center and clapping, of Springfield, and a worker in the <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PLGEO100100204120000" title="Middletown" href="/topic/us/connecticut/middlesex-county-%28connecticut%29/middletown-PLGEO100100204120000.topic">Middletown</a> plant said "It's going to be a great day," and didn't think they would vote to strike.
