Singing at the Podunk Bluegrass Music Festival.

Dan Dube of Berlin, Warren Charette of Newington, and Charlie Shefcyk of Middletown, sing under a shade awning during a jam session in the campground of the Podunk Bluegrass Music Festival. Joe Arsenault, of South Windsor, who drove the green bus in the background and says he has attended over 30 bluegrass festivals this year, where such jam sessions are common, "I've seen these things go all night until the sun comes up." According to listener Craig Jensen of East Hartford, "As good as the bands are on stage, the music loses a little bit when its amplified, This is the way it's meant to be."
