Ice Boating on Rogers Lake

Mark Anderson, 24, of East Lyme, pushes his ice boat onto Rogers Lake in Old Lyme Monday, Feb. 1, 2010. His father Jim also came to sail on the frozen lake with Mark and several other boaters. Mark clocked his top speed of the day at 36.4 mph. The boaters said the vessels are capable of sailing along the ice at 60 mph, and added, "But none of us are!"
