Mudslide Damage In Middletown

A gaping hole opened up under the foundation when a mudslide tore away an embankment at the Charton Terrace apartment complex in Middletown after the Coginhaug RIver overflowed with the torrential rains Tuesday. Residents of the apartments were evacuated Tuesday but some were being allowed back in late Wednesday afternoon.
