Franchise Players Leave The Team

Jerry Rice Jerry Rice won three Super Bowls with the San Francisco 49ers, playing from 1985-2000 in San Francisco. He was the MVP of Super Bowl XXIII in 1989. Rice played with the Oakland Raiders from 2001 to 2004, returning to the Super Bowl in 2003, but he was clearly not the threat he had been when Joe Montana and Steve Young were throwing the ball his way. Rice joined the Seattle Seahawks four games into the 2004 season.
