The New Yankee Stadium: Jorge Posada Homers On Opening Day

Jorge Posada of the New York Yankees round the bases after hitting a solo home run in the fifth inning against the Cleveland Indians during opening day at the new Yankee Stadium on April 16, 2009 in the Bronx borough of New York City. This is the first regular season MLB game being played at the new venue which replaced the old Yankee Stadium as the Yankees home field. The new stadium made headlines early on for the large amount of home runs hit in it as compared to the old Yankee Stadium.
