( Orlando Sentinel ) A report released June 6 by McKinsey Quarterly suggests that nearly one-third of employers are likely to stop offering health insurance to employees in 2014 when new health reform provisions kick in. McKinsey research found that 30% of the 1,300 employers surveyed said they would "definitely or probably" drop insurance plans. The White House fired back at the report, however, noting that experts from the Congressional Budget Office and other sources estimate that less than 10% of employees would be forced into other policies. |
