DERRY TOWNSHIP, DAUPHIN COUNTY—1 in 8 women will be affected by Breast Cancer in their life.
Doctor's at Penn State Hershey Breast Center are reminding women that early detection is key. They recommend that women have an annual Mammogram starting at age 40. If you have a first degree relative who had Breast Cancer you need to get screened ten years before the age your loved one discovered their cancer.
So this Mother's Day let the women in your life know what it means to you that they get screened.
The appointment line at Penn State Breast Center is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
