FORT COLLINS, Colo. - Falcon Heene, the 6-year-old Fort Collins boy who was the focus of an intensive search after his father's helium-filled flying saucer drifted away Thursday, threw up twice during separate interviews on national television Friday morning.

His sudden illness came when Falcon was asked what he meant with his comment "we did this for a show" on CNN's Larry King Live Thursday evening.

During an ABC interview Friday, Henne said "Mom, I feel like I'm going to vomit." He then left the room with his mother and could be heard gagging.

During another interview on NBC's Today Show, Falcon threw up into a container when his father was answering the same question.

Wolf Blitzer, who was filling in for Larry King Thursday evening, asked Falcon father, Richard, if his son heard people calling out for him as they searched the family's Fort Collins home after the large balloon drifted off into the Colorado sky.

"Did you hear us calling your name at any time?" Richard asked Falcon. The boy nodded yes.

"Why didn't you come out?"

"You guys said that, um...we did this for a show," Falcon said.

Richard Heene struggled to explain his son's answer, even when Blitzer revisited the issue later in the broadcast. He told NBC Friday that his son, being just 6-years-old, probably didn't know what he was talking about. He told Meredith Veiera that Thursday's drama was "absolutely not" a hoax.

Larimer County Sheriff Jim Alderman says his investigators believe the runaway balloon drama was not a hoax, but will seek a new interview with the family after the CNN broadcast to clarify the statement.
