Allow Yourself Rest and Recovery

Take atleast one or two days a week to give your body a break and rest your muscles. Gettting enough sleep will help you build energy for your workouts and if you're sore for more than 24 hours, it's time to take a step back and evaluate your routine. Interspersing a relaxing activity such as yoga or pilates into your weekly cardiovascular routine is a good idea for exercising at any level.
