Policymakers for the nation's leading doctors group got together this week and decided, among other things, that the organization will indeed support a tenet in the healthcare law that requires individuals to purchase insurance coverage.<br>

Some members had balked at the group's support, casting doubt on whether the organization would continue to back the measure.<br>

The group also chided insurance companies for their high rate of errors in processing medical claims and asked for more study on the merits of taxing soft drinks.
