Whole grain breads, cereals, crackers, rice and pastas

Magnesium helps build bones and maintain teeth. It's also helpful for protein synthesis, muscle function, nerve function and energy production. Potassium helps maintain normal muscle cell contraction. Niacin helps DNA replication and repair, and energy metabolism. Calcium helps build strong bones and maintain healthy teeth. It also reduces osteoporosis risk. Riboflavin and thiamin (B vitamins) help carbohydrate metabolism and energy production. Folate (folic acid) helps reduce the chances of a woman giving birth to a child with a brain or spinal cord condition. Iron helps regulation of cell growth and oxygen delivery.
