Thanksgiving riot shows dangers at Maryland mental hospitals

Mummified child returned

The 200-year-old mummified remains of a small child has been returned to the University of Maryland School of Medicine. The mummy was found on eBay and confiscated from a Michigan man trying to sell it. It sat in a police evidence room awaiting confirmation that it was indeed part of the university's collection, a set of remains that were used to train some of school's first medical students.
