Who will be the Republican nominee for governor?

State Senate Republican leader John McKinney declared his candidacy for governor this week. He said he’ll leave his seat to run for the Republican nomination. Greenwich businessman Tom Foley, another Republican, has long said he would run for governor in 2014. He came within 6,000 votes of winning in 2010 against Democratic Gov. Dannel P. Malloy. Republican Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton may also run. Who will end up with the GOP nomination for the 2014 general election?
