Sean Burke: Always Ready

<a href="http://www.nhl.com/ice/player.htm?id=8445769"  target="_blank">Sean Burke</a> came from the Devils in a trade for <a href="http://www.nhl.com/ice/player.htm?id=8447958"  target="_blank">Bobby Holik</a>. <i>Hockey Digest</i> <a href="http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0FCM/is_7_31/ai_99114522/">called</a> Burke "the franchise for the Devils, and to whatever heights he rises, the Devils will rise with him." Burke did not disappoint in his six-year tenure with the team. He is the Whalers’ franchise leader in games played by a goaltender (256) and was voted the team's Most Valuable Player from '93-'97. Burke retired in 2007 and is currently the goaltending coach for the Phoenix Coyotes.
