1967 - Charlie Sifford

Tears poured down Charlie Sifford's face as he accepted his $20,000 first place check for winning the 1967 Greater Hartford Open Invitational with a winning score of 272. He bested players such as Gary Player, Ray Floyd and Doug Ford to befome the first black member of the PGA to win a PGA Tour Title.
