A flawed, inconsistent police response to sexual assault in Maryland

From The Vault: Sports

Golf bag and golf clubs owned by Katharine Hepburn. Golf bag was made by Atlantic Products; Clubs were made by Wilson Sporting Goods, hand-knit covers. Katharine Hepburn's father encouraged her to play sports and her practice paid off. When Hepburn was 12 or 13 her mother signed up for golf lessons at the Hartford Golf Club; she played there often through her high school years and immediate years after. As an adult, she was an avid golfer who shot in the low 80s. Hepburn's golf skills aided her in the role as a professional female golfer in the movie "Pat and Mike." The Connecticut Historical Society will be offering a new exhibit -- Katharine Hepburn: Dressed for Stage and Screen -- starting April 11, 2014.
