The Connecticut Sun played its seventh game Sunday, but its first feeling completely whole.
The return of center Sandrine Gruda finally gave the Sun a full deck. All 11 players were present and available and they didn't waste any time producing a team win in just about every respect.
Tina Charles scored 19 points (7 for 9) and added 11 rebounds for her fifth double-double of the season to lead the Sun to a 81-68 victory over the San Antonio Silver Stars.
Renee Montgomery added 16 points for the Sun (5-2), making 4 of 8 from three. DeMya Walker (5 for 6) had 12 points. Tan White and Kara Lawson each had six assists.
The Silver Stars (2-5) have lost four straight and played without All-Star guard Becky Hammon, who has a quad strain, for the second straight game. They were led by Sophia Young (21 points) and Chamique Holdsclaw (14).Copyright © 2015, The Baltimore Sun
