Sara Topham, Ben Cole Added To "Tempest" Cast at Hartford Stage

Sara Topham, who recently Gwendlyn in Broadway’s “The Importance of Being Earnest” with Brian Bedford, plays Miranda in the upcoming Hartford Stage production of “The Tempest.”

She acted for 12 seasons at Stratford (Canada) Shakespeare Festival and was in the film “Eloise at Christmastime.”

Ben Cole, a student at Universioty of Hartford's Hartt School, will play Caliban.

Shirine Babb, who was in Long Wharf Theatre’s recent production of “Macbeth 1969,” plays Ariel.

 The previously announced Daniel Davis (TV’s “The Nanny”) plays Prospero in the show, which runs May 10 to June 10, and staged by artistic director Darko Tresnjak.

Also cast are: Noble Shropshire (Gonzalo), Bruce Turk (Trinculo), William Patrick Riley (Fredinand), David Barlow (Sebastian), Michael Spencer- Davis (Stephano), Joshua Dean (Mariner/Spirit), Jonathan Lincoln Fried (Antonio), Christopher Randolph (King Alonso), Alex Saffer (Francisco, Boatswain), Mark Ford (As Cast) , Jane Cracovaner (Prowmaiden/Goddess), Jillian Greenberg (Spirit/Goddess), and Annastasia Duffany (Spirit/Goddess).
