Plane Crashes Into East Haven Homes

The remains of a Rockwell International Turbo Commander 690B turboprop plane extend from the rear of a home in East Haven Friday. The plane crashed while approaching Tweed New Haven Airport en route from Teterboro Airport in New Jersey. At least three people including the pilot and two children who had been inside the home are presumed dead.
