The Kanikaba at Miya's Sushi in New Haven is Dungeness crab-stuffed potato skin infused with crab shell stock, topped with toasted havarti cheese and a lemon-dill sauce. The dish is designed to look like the craggy shores of the Long Island Sound and is topped with fried invasive Asian shore crabs and local pestilent starfish.
